Guided Hill Walks and Hikes in The Burren

Some Burren treks that I can lead you on are described as follows:

Wild Atantic Coastal Walk – Trek along the breath-taking coastline of Clare, experiencing the best Ireland has to offer in scenery and tranquillity. At 4kms in length and with little or no height gain, this walk is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities and can be completed in under 3 hours.

Oughtdara – An area of the Burren as much famed for its stunning geological features and unique karst landscape as it is for its culture and history. Among its attractions is the abandoned famine settlement dating back to the mid 1800s. 2-3 hours in length and for all fitness levels.

Mullaghmore – Possibly the most impressive and uniquely shaped upland area in Ireland, this exceptional walk, located in the Burren National Park, can be varied from a short 2 hour walk to a longer 4 hour walk encompassing additional peaks. A good level of fitness is required to enjoy this walk to its fullest.

Black Head Loop – Ascend amazing Black Head, located on the very edge of the Wild Atlantic Way and commanding impressive views over Galway bay and the Aran Islands. This walk can be varied from a short, but steep ascent to a full day out on the hill, depending on your fitness level.
